Welcome to Methacton High School!

Methacton High School houses students in grades nine through 12. Individualized schedules are provided to all students that reflect a strong core curriculum with the flexibility to explore various academic and personal interests. Vocational-Technical training is available through the North Montco Technical Career Center to develop occupational and career skills and to prepare students for further education in related fields.

The Counseling staff offers a full range of services for college and career readiness standards for every student. Extensive technology applications include one-to-one Chromebooks for all students in grades nine through twelve and full range of STEM based curricular offerings.

Methacton High School offers a robust Advanced Placement program, with 23 courses currently offered. A complete telecommunications studio provides daily student broadcasts integrated with courses designed to prepare students for the twenty-first century. Students also participate in a wide variety of co-curricular programs including interscholastic sports in the Pioneer Athletic Conference, and a nationally recognized Community Service Program all focused on preparing students to be lifelong learners.

Student Day: 7:30 am - 2:20 pm 

Visitor parking is available in front of the building.  Visitors should ALWAYS come with a picture driver’s license when seeking entry to volunteer or to participate in an activity.  Also, when taking a student out for an early dismissal (medical appointment, family emergency, etc.) the adult taking the child MUST present a driver’s license and MUST be listed on the student’s emergency release form (or send a note in advance to the classroom teacher from the parent/guardian indicating they have permission to take the student from school).  Visitors are expected to sign in and out of the building.
