The Methacton School District deeply values the contributions of its volunteers, recognizing them as essential partners in fostering a supportive and enriching educational environment. The district offers a variety of opportunities for community members to engage with our schools.
Please allow at least two (2) weeks for volunteer application processing. Applications submitted fewer than two weeks before your intended volunteer date may not be approved in time.
Choose the volunteer position that's best for you:
Position Volunteer
A position volunteer may or will reasonably have direct contact with a student(s) while performing his/her volunteer service without direct supervision by a school district employee.
Guest Volunteer
A guest volunteer may or reasonably have little to no contact with students, indirect contact with students, direct contact with students in close proximity to a school district employee while performing his/her volunteer service and there is NO time when the volunteer is alone with a student or in a secluded, isolated or remote area with a student without a school district employee being present.
Note: If you are already an approved Guest Volunteer but would like to become a Position Volunteer, please email all of your completed clearances and documents to Information@Methacton.org.
