The Methacton High School Staff v. Students basketball game brought a packed house, plenty of friendly rivalry and a strong sense of purpose. High school students faced off against a team of high school and district staff--including Superintendent Dr. Zerbe and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Regina. In the end, the students pulled ahead with a 22–14 victory, earning some well-deserved bragging rights.
While the matchup delivered plenty of highlights, the real success came from the cause behind it. The event served as a fundraiser for Mini-THON, and thanks to the strong turnout and community spirit, ticket sales brought in more than $1,300 to support children and families affected by childhood cancer.
