On March 27, the Warriors Performance Group (WPG) hosted its annual Spring Showcase—the culmination of a year dedicated to social justice, local service, and advocacy. Through the power of song, dance, and spoken word, 21 students took the stage to share vital messages on issues ranging from environmental protection and mental health to equality and human rights.
The impact of the evening extended well beyond the stage. Leading up to the event, WPG students organized a school-wide period and hygiene product drive for Mitzvah Circle. Thanks to the generosity of our community, they collected 2,626 individual period products and 46 health and hygiene items.
WPG continues to prove that when students are empowered to celebrate the human spirit, they truly raise the bar for our entire community. Congratulations to the members and to club sponsors Mary Fitzgerald and Denise Naylor, whose wisdom and care make this important work possible.
