Pathways to Graduation

As outlined in Pennsylvania's Act 158, students must achieve at least a proficient score on the Algebra 1, Biology, and Literature Keystone Exams, in addition to fulfilling their high school graduation requirements. For students who do not attain proficiency on all three Keystones, there are five alternative pathways to graduation. These pathways allow students to demonstrate their readiness for post-secondary education or career opportunities, even if they don't meet the minimum requirements on the Keystone Exams.

The five pathways are: Keystone Proficiency, Keystone Composite, Alternate Assessment, Evidence-Based, and Career and Technical Education.

Community Service

In order to receive credit for your community service you must complete a log sheet and a reflection sheet. All information must be completed to receive credit. Make sure you total your hours. Completed sheets can be dropped off in the Counseling Office.

Every 30 hours: .25 credit. Credits earned will be on the 2nd and/or 4th marking period report card(s).

Forms should be handed in by September 15th for any summer volunteer work, and at the end of each semester or year end for all other hours completed.

TRANSCRIPT FORM - CURRENT STUDENTS

This form may be printed out, signed and returned to the counseling office or parents may use the link to sign and submit it online. Please note that you must be signed into your Methacton account to submit this form and there will only be one submission. If you have any questions about the form or transcripts in general, please contact your school counselor. Please note that this is a "release only" form, not a transcript request form. Students need to request transcripts through their Naviance accounts.
