Welcome to the Methacton High School Theatre Company!

 

The Methacton High School Theatre Company is a Performing Arts club that produces and puts on a Fall Play and Spring Musical, as well as miscellaneous events throughout the year such as Senior Night and Theatre Bootcamp.

The goal of the Company is to encourage student participation and to learn about the backstage and technical aspects of a theater that anyone can participate in, even if they do not want to perform on stage. The Theatre Company is also part of the International Thespian Society and participates in the Philadelphia Independence Awards.

Our Theatre Company meetings are the first Wednesday of every month, at 2:30pm in the Auditorium. All are welcome!

Little Shop of Horrors, with book & music by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, is a dark musical comedy about ambition, love, and the consequences of getting what you wish for. 


Show Dates: February 26th at 7pm, February 27th at 7pm, February 28th at 7pm, March 1st at 2pm. 

Tickets are $8 for students/seniors and $15 for adults

All tickets are general admission and only available electronically, through HomeTown Ticketing.

Little Shop of Horrors is a dark comedy musical that includes mature themes. This production contains references to drug use and addiction, domestic violence, death, and murder, all portrayed in a stylized, theatrical, and often comedic manner. While no graphic violence is depicted, these themes may be sensitive for some audience members. Viewer discretion is advised. The beliefs of those portrayed in this production are not those of the Methacton School District.

Seating begins approximately 30 minutes prior to show time. As a courtesy to our actors and patrons, we strive to begin on time. Seating after the performance begins will be at the discretion of the House Manager and may not be possible until intermission depending on available seats and the set up of the show.
