Parking Passes
Students who wish to park on campus every day must apply for a parking sticker. Since there are not enough spaces for all the seniors, this will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis until all available spaces are filled, at which time the parking registration will close. For juniors, spots will be randomly selected until all available spaces are filled. All students who apply and do not initially receive a parking spot will be placed on a wait list with their lottery number to remain eligible in the event a space opens up.
Seniors are now able to sign-up online for their parking stickers in their Google classroom. Please read all the information below.
Parking sticker distribution will take place BEFORE the end of the school year this year.

Senior Parking for 2025-2026
Seniors who wish to park on campus every day must apply for a parking sticker. Since there are not enough spaces for all the seniors, this will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis until all available spaces are filled at which time the parking registration will close. All outstanding obligations must be met prior to receiving your parking sticker.
On May 7th starting at 7:00 AM seniors will be able to sign-up online for their parking stickers in their google classroom. Please read all the information below. Parking sticker distribution will take place BEFORE the end of this school year this year.
To obtain a parking sticker please follow the instructions:
- Seniors must sign in to their Google Classroom - Class of 2026.
- Students will fill out the Google form provided in Google Classroom completely. This step must be completed before making a payment on Hometown Ticketing.
- After filling out the Google form on Google Classroom, click on the provided link to pay through Hometown Ticketing (all parking stickers will be purchased through Hometown Ticketing this year).
- Note: You may forgo your bus seat for the school year, and receive a $50.00 discount on your parking permit fee, making the payment $30.00 or you may choose NOT to give up a seat on the bus, and be required to pay $80.00.
- Once the payment is made, you will receive an email with all the parking forms that need to be printed and signed.
- Bring all the signed forms and documents listed below to the East Wing Activities office where students will receive their parking spot number and sticker for their car:
- Print the MHS Vehicle Registration Form and fill it out, signed by both student & a parent (the form will be sent in the email confirmation from Hometown Ticketing).
- Print the Bus Waiver Form and fill it out & parent’s signature (the form will be sent in the email confirmation from Hometown Ticketing).
- Valid driver’s license - you must have a valid driver’s license to apply for a parking space. If you have a learners permit, your application will be rejected.
- Vehicle’s current insurance card.
- Vehicle’s current owner’s card.
General Information
Student operators must abide by the rules for school parking (School Board Policy 223).
Who may apply
- Driving a car and parking on school property is a privilege, not a right that must be earned and maintained. Students must maintain good standing status to keep their parking privileges.
- Members of the freshman & sophomore classes are not permitted to drive to school, regardless of their age.
- Any student who has obligations or is on the Disciplinary Probation List is NOT eligible for a parking permit until all obligations have been met, and the student is removed from the Disciplinary Probation List. Students who are on disciplinary probation may not drive to school. Students who remain on disciplinary probation for more than two weeks may have all driving privileges revoked.
Sticker/Permit Information
- All student cars parked on school district property must be registered and bear a school issued parking sticker.
- Parking stickers are non-transferable and are permanent for the school year. Giving, receiving, trading, making duplicates, or selling a parking stickers to another student will result in the removal of parking privileges for the remainder of the school year.
- Students cannot register a non-family vehicle.
- Students with parking privileges may register only one vehicle. If, for any reason, you drive an unregistered vehicle to school, you must inform the MHS Assistant Principals’ Office prior to 1st period to complete a “car change information sheet” to stay on campus.
- All vehicles parked on school property shall be under the jurisdiction of the High School administration. This includes the right of school officials to search all vehicles and confiscate any illegal materials. The parking lots may be inspected on a daily basis to confirm the presence of valid parking stickers.
Parking and Driving Information
- Students must park in the Senior Parking Lot, ONLY in the spot assigned to them. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in a fine. Repeated offenses may result in revocation of driving privileges.
- Students driving on Methacton School District property must follow all regulations of the School and Motor Vehicle Code of Pennsylvania. Failure to do so will result in the loss of parking privileges. Therefore, drivers must exercise caution and drive slowly on and around school property. Speeding and reckless driving will not be tolerated where lives are at stake. Speeding and reckless driving will result in immediate loss of driving privileges.
- The school cannot be held liable for any thefts or damage to vehicles. Individuals must handle any incidents of this nature at their own expense.
- Students are to park cars, exit immediately, and move directly to the building. Loitering in cars or the parking area is not permitted.
- At no time may students go to their cars during the school day without school authorization.
- In case of snow, parking cannot be guaranteed due to plowing.
- When Methacton School District issues an Early Dismissal due to weather, your vehicle must be removed from the lot.
Driving to school is a senior privilege and not a right. Driving privileges may be revoked by MHS administration at any time for disciplinary purposes.
Junior Parking for 2025-2026
Juniors who wish to join the lottery process to park on campus every day in the junior lot for the 2025/2026 school year must follow the process for application for a parking sticker. All Juniors who are interested in a parking space will need to fill out the Google form.
Since there are not enough spaces for all juniors to park, spots will be randomly selected until all available spaces are filled. All students who apply and do not initially receive a parking spot will be placed on a wait list with their lottery number to remain eligible in the event a space opens up. All outstanding obligations must be met prior to receiving a parking sticker.
Instructions for Juniors Signing Up for the Lottery:

All juniors will receive an email from Dr. Spiewak on Monday, 8/11/2025 with directions for accessing the Junior parking lottery. The lottery form will be open from 8/11/25 – 8/20/2025. Only students with a valid driver’s license are eligible to apply

Students MUST be signed in to their Methacton email to be able to access the form.

- Interested students who meet the criteria (valid driver’s license, registration, insurance, and available car, etc.) should complete the Google Doc to enter the lottery. The lottery form will close on 8/20/25 at 3pm
- If you are selected for one of the available Junior parking spots you will be notified via school email on Monday, 8/21/25. Parking passes will be distributed in the East Wing office on 8/25 (8am-12 pm) and August 26,27,28 between 7-7:30, 2:20-3:00 or during their lunch.
- Parking passes will only be issued once ALL necessary documentation is on file. Students are not permitted to park until they have been issued a tag.

Cost
- If selected for one of the available Junior parking spots, please note that there is a cost associated with the parking spot.
- You have two payment options - You may forgo your bus seat for the school year, and receive a $50.00 discount on your parking permit fee, making the payment $30.00; or you may choose NOT to give up a seat on the bus, and be required to pay the full $80.00 fee. Payment will be made on Hometown Ticketing this year. Link for Hometown will be provided in the email notifying the student if they were chosen in the lottery.
